The pace and attitude of this trip is for more action, more splashing and less "hand-holding."
This trip is Guide-assisted. Guides are along, but not in every raft. You can pay additional ($9 per person) to guarantee a guide in your raft.
Personalized Boat Selection - Choose from rafts or the more adventurous one and two person Rowdy RiverCats. Find the boat(s) that meets the need of each member of your family or group. Rafts are drier and more stable. Each raft needs a capable captain. RiverCats are more adventurous.

The Nantahala River is clear and cool. Minimum age to raft the Nantahala is age 7.
You run eight miles of clear and cool mountain river, going through more than 20 fun and adventurous rapids, ending with the classic Little Wesser.
The Nantahala River is dam-controlled, giving you consistent water level throughout the season.
